Ritchie is Tobacco Clan from the village of Tewa on Hopi land. He is an anthropology graduate student at Northern Arizona University with an emphasis in archaeology. He is regionally interested in studying the archaeological southwest with a focus on Ancestral Pueblo landscapes and materials. His lived experience and traditional lifeways provide a unique perspective that enlivens the archaeological past and informs preservation for future generations.
Ritchie was a Crow Canyon intern for the American Indian Initiatives department in 2022.
