Mike Adler received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan Museum of Anthropology. Presently, he is the Chair of the Department of Anthropology at Southern Methodist University, and he has decades of experience in the education field as a professor and lecturer in the anthropological field. In 2023, Dr. Adler published an article titled “Multi-Sensor Drone Survey of Ancestral Agricultural Landscapes at Picuris Pueblo” in the Journal of Archaeological Science and has a chapter in “Research, Education, and American Indian Partnerships at the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center.” His primary research interests include fathoming community, identity and ancestry in the American southwest.
