Roof Description
Stratum interpreted as roof fall consists mostly of burned sediment, stones, and charred logs; some charred closing material present as well. Signs of burning were most intense around the edge of the structure; almost no burned beams were found in the center. The underlying stratum--interpreted as structural collapse plus wind- and water-deposited sediment--contained rotted shakes and other wood. Inferred cribbed-log roof.
