Northwest portion of the site.
Specific Location
Arbitrary 506 is about 80 m northwest of Structure 102.
Selection Criteria
A 1-x-1-m unit was used to investigate a midden deposit. It was discovered that a pit structure existed under the midden deposit, so a 3-x-1-m unit was used to investigate the structure.

Located directly west of the center of the Nonstructure 502 (Architectural Block 500 midden), over Structure 505.

Random. To sample Architectural Block 500 midden Nonstructure 502.
Excavation Strategy
Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels. Strata were subdivided into arbitrary 10-cm levels when applicable.
Unit Ends at
Structure floor. Excavations ended on the floor of Structure 505 at an elevation of approximately 100.84 m. Features 1 and 2 were dug into the Structure 505 floor.

Judgmental. This unit was selected to test Structures 505 and 508.

Structure floor. In the north section of the unit, excavation ended on the floor of Structure 505 at an elevation of approximately 100.84 m. In the south section of the unit, excavation ended on the floor of Structure 508 at an elevation of approximately 100.79 m.
