Located in the southwest quarter of Nonstructure 102 (Block 100 east midden).

Selection Criteria

Random. Fourth 1-x1-m unit selected for excavation in Nonstructure 102.

Excavation Strategy

Natural strata.

Unit Ends at

Undisturbed native sediment. Excavations were terminated at approximately 104.79 m. A 20 cm x 20 cm window was dug into the northeast corner of the unit to confirm sterility; the bottom of this window was at an elevation of 104.75 m.
