2-x-2-m unit was judgmentally placed to test an anomaly identified by the electrical resistance survey in 2001.
Use
Secondary refuse was deposited by nearby residents (Structure 1104) during the Late Pueblo II period. Excavation ceased in this Study Unit when Human Remains Occurrence 6 was encountered in Nonstructure 1103.

Natural wind and water sediments covered Arbitrary Unit 1102 deposits.
Dating of Construction
Arbitrary Unit 1102 was deposited in the Late Pueblo II period. This inference was based on the presence of two funerary artifacts (two Mancos Black-on-white bowls; Whole Vessel numbers 7 and 8) associated with Nonstructure 1103, located immediately below Arbitrary Unit 1102, and Human Remains Occurrence 6.
