Judgmental. The 3-x-1-m unit was used to investigate the nature of a visible depression on the surface, and where a remote sensing anomaly had been detected.

Segment 1 (Segment 1 is 28m east-west, and 1m north-south.). North-central portion of the site. Northwest of Nonstructure 106.

Judgmental. Segment 1 was used to investigate two depressions identified on the surface.

Other. A backhoe was used to excavate Segment 1 in a full cut.

Bedrock. From the modern ground surface all the way to the bedrock, Nonstructure 107, or the mechanically disturbed sediment was present. Excavation terminated on bedrock.
