About this Nonstructure
General Location
Upper west side. South of cliff face, on steep talus slope and south of a cluster of buildings that includes Structure 7 (a tested kiva).
Specific Location
Upper half of 1-x-1-m 390N 406E (EU 10); rests near top of Nonstructure 3.3-N and below Nonstructure 3.1-N.
Selection Criteria
Part of Nonstructure 3-N testing; see Nonstructure 3-N and associated EU for description and explanation of testing strategy.
Use
Ephermal surface in fill that is associated with the construction of an extramural wall (Feature 1).
Abandonment
Probably abandoned as this part of the site was abandoned.
Postabandonment Process
Covered with postoccupational colluvium that includes redeposited secondary refuse.
Dating of Construction
Not constructed. Because this surface rests in a secondary refuse deposit (Nonstructure 3.3-N) that dates between A.D. 1000 and 1300, this surface is thought to have been used during that time period as well.
Dating of Remodeling
Not applicable.
Dating of Abandonment
Probably abandoned when this area of the site was abandoned as there are no cultural, occupational deposits resting above this surface.

No evidence of reuse.
