Segment 3 N E.
(Roughly 4-x-1-meters)
Located on canyon rim and on a bank immediately west of the main drainage of the pueblo.
South edge of excavation unit is approximately three meters from the cliff edge; adjacent to and north of a stone alignment (F-5) that is visible at modern ground surface.
Selection Criteria
Judgmental. Selected to evaluate: (1) the construction of two and possibly three stone alignments that are believed to be check dams, and; (2) the sediment that accumulated behind these supposed dams.
Excavation Strategy
Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels.
