Use
Nonstructure 174 is an extramural surface from which two postholes (Features 1 and 2) were excavated in the Early Pueblo III period. It is unknown if the postholes are part of a larger structure.
Abandonment
Nonstructure 174 was not used after the Early Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Structure 9021 was constructed above Nonstructure 174 after Nonstructure 189 refuse covered it.
Dating of Construction
Nonstructure 174 was used in the Early Pueblo III period. This inference is based on the construction of Structure 9021 above this surface in the Early Pueblo III period and Nonstructure 189 and 159 refuse below the surface deposited in the Early Pueblo III period.
