Selection Criteria

1-x-2-m unit was judgmentally placed to expose the masonry on the north wall of Architectural Block 300 surface rooms; unit was actually placed in the southwest interior of a surface room.

Use

Nonstructure 306 is an extramural surface from which three posts (Features 1, 2, and 3) were excavated into. It seems likely that the posts were part of a surface structure constructed during the Pueblo II period.

Not applicable.

Postabandonment Process

Cultural fill covered Nonstructure 306 prior to the construction of Structure 305.

Dating of Construction

Based on pottery data and stratigraphic information, this surface was most likely used in the Pueblo II period.

Nonstructure 306 fell out of use during the Early Pueblo III period when Structure 305 was constructed above this surface.
