Selection Criteria

One of five consecutive 1-x-1-m units judgmentally placed to test a possible foot path feature. This unit exposed Nonstructure 101 deposits (midden) and continued into Nonstructure 9007.

Use

Nonstructure 9007 is an extramural surface from which a burial pit (Feature 1) was excavated for the interment of Human Remains Occurrence 10 sometime during the Middle Pueblo II through Late Pueblo III period.

Abandonment

Nonstructure 101 refuse covered this surface sometime during the Middle Pueblo II through Late Pueblo III period.
