Selection Criteria
1-x-2-m unit judgmentally placed to expose the exterior face of Structure 195 south masonry wall.
Use
Nonstructure 9018 is a prepared adobe ramp-like surface constructed to protect the foundation stones of Structure 195 from environmental erosion. Pottery in with the adobe in this "ramp" dates to the Early PIII period; 1:1:1 Mancos, McElmo, Mesa Verde Black-on-white, respectively.
Abandonment
Nonstructure 9018 was no longer used after Structure 195 fell out of use.
Postabandonment Process
Natural wind and water sediments and architectural debris accumulated above the surface.

Nonstructure 9018 was constructed in the Early Pueblo III period.
