Selection Criteria
Eighth 1-x-1-m unit randomly selected for excavation in Nonstructure 901.
Use
Extramural surface composed of undisturbed native sediment from which a pit feature (Feature 1) was excavated.
Abandonment
This surface was no longer used in the Early Pueblo III period when secondary refuse (Nonstructure 901) was deposited above Nonstructure 915.
Postabandonment Process
Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 901) was deposited above Nonstructure 915. Natural wind and water sediments covered Nonstructure 901 deposits.
Dating of Construction
Based on construction dates for surrounding architecture in Architectural Block 900 and on the midden deposits (Nonstructure 901) it is inferred that Nonstructure 915 dates from the Late Pueblo II to the Early Pueblo III period.

Not applicable.
Dating of Abandonment
This surface was no longer used in the Early Pueblo III period when secondary refuse (Nonstructure 901) was deposited above Nonstructure 915.
