To sample this untested, possibly structural area.

Use

This extramural surface was used for the construction of at least three walls--one site-enclosing wall, one retaining wall, and one wall of unknown function--and also for the construction of one pit.

Abandonment

No data.

Postabandonment Process

Walls collapsed naturally, and sediment was deposited naturally.

Dating of Construction

No construction dates, but assumed to have been used sometime during the one defined occupation of the site (A.D. 1256-1285).

Dating of Remodeling

No evidence of remodeling.

Dating of Abandonment

Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery is associated with this study unit; area assumed to have been abandoned when occupation of the village ended, sometime after A.D. 1274.
