Selection Criteria
2-x-2-m unit was judgmentally excavated to sample Structure 110 and Nonstructure 101; Nonstructure 125 was exposed.
Use
This surface represents an extramural surface from which a burial pit (Feature 1) was excavated.
Abandonment
This surface was not used after the late Pueblo II period.
Postabandonment Process
Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 101) and natural sediments accumulated above Nonstructure 125.
Dating of Construction
Natural fill accumulated above the roof sediments of Structure 110. Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 101) was deposited above the natural sediments during the Pueblo II period. A burial pit (Nonstructure 125 Feature 1) was excavated from Nonstructure 125, Surface 1 through Nonstructure 101 refuse deposits into natural sediments; Human Remains Occurrence 1 (Nonstructure 125, Feature 2) was interred and covered by secondary refuse. Nonstructure 125 was used during the late Pueblo II period.
Dating of Remodeling
None evident.
Dating of Abandonment
This area was no longer used after the late Pueblo II period.

Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 101) was deposited over this extramural surface.
