Selection Criteria

To sample fill and features evident in profile of Backhoe Trench 112. Nonstructure 158 was one of these.

This is an extramural surface from which two pit features were excavated (Features 1 and 2).

Abandonment

Based on pottery data, this surface was not used after the late Pueblo II period. Pottery from secondary refuse deposits (Nonstructure 157) located above Nonstructure 158 date from the late Pueblo II period.
