South of the roomblock in Architectural Block 3200.

Selection Criteria

Surface was encountered during excavations designed to determine if the associated roomblock is a bi-wall structure.

Use

Outdoor use surface on which Structure 3201 and associated retaining wall were constructed.

Abandonment

Abandoned when occupation of this area ended.

Postabandonment Process

Covered with construction deposits, secondary refuse, and then alluvial and colluvial sediments.

Dating of Construction

The presence of Pueblo III White Painted pottery in the deposits below this surface indicate that this surface was used after A.D. 1100.

Dating of Abandonment

Surface was used, and so also abandoned, after A.D. 1100.
