Central part of the site.
Specific Location
Just north of the roomblock in Architectural Block 600.
Selection Criteria
Surface was encountered during excavations to expose the outside face of the north wall of the roomblock.
Use
Outdoor use surface that appears to predate the construction of the roomblock
Abandonment
Abandoned as a use surface when refuse was deposited on it
Postabandonment Process
Covered initially by midden, then cultural deposits from roomblock construction and occupation, and later by wall fall, and aeolian and alluvial deposits
Dating of Construction
Surface was not constructed, but was used sometime after A.D. 1100; this inference is based on the presence of Pueblo III White Painted pottery beneath this surface.
Dating of Abandonment
Surface was abandoned sometime after A.D. 1100; this inference is based on the presence of Pueblo III White Painted sherds beneath this surface.

Judgmental. Extension of 2 x 1 m unit (EU 75) to the south to try to expose the Architectural Block 600 masonry wall.
