General description
Small posthole dug into the prehistoric ground surface and lined with sandstone shims.

Unknown; possible ramada or stockade post.

Excavation procedure
Feature was identified while clearing Surface 1. It was excavated in full cut and floatation and pollen samples were collected. All other fill was screened through 1/8-inch mesh.

Entire feature.
Horizontal location
Northeast corner of 1-x-1-m excavation unit 1358N 2472E.
Vertical location
Dug into Surface 1.
Construction
A pit was excavated into Surface 1, it was partially lined with sandstone shims, and the post was then inserted.

Feature was identified while clearing Surface 1. It was excavated in full cut and floatation samples were collected. All other fill was screened through 1/8-inch mesh.

All of the feature in the unit (about 3/4 of feature).

Dug into Surface 1.
