General description
Posthole 1 was dug into the prehistoric ground surface on the north side of Structure 115. The fill was composed of secondary refuse and post-occupational sediments.

Posthole 1 was likely used to support a roof over Structure 115.

Upright sandstone slabs and the Posthole 1 in Structure 115.
Excavation procedure
The portion of this feature exposed in the excavation unit, Segment 1, was excavated in a full cut with a trowel. A flotation sample was collected, and all other sediment was put through eighth-inch mesh.
