General description
Low retaining masonry wall.
Use history
May have reduced erosion and allowed sediment to accumulate; built late in the history of the site after a considerable amount of occupational deposits, including secondary refuse, had accumulated.
Associated features
Similar to other low walls and stone alignments in Nst 1 (F-2, F-3, F-5, F-7, F-8, F-11 and F-12) and Nst 4 (F-1 and F-3); this feature may be part of the same wall as Nst 4, F-1.

Portion in excavation unit; observations were made on portion of wall that is immediately south of unit and rests on modern ground surface.
Horizontal location
South end of Segment 8.
Vertical location
Base of wall rests slightly below Surface 1 (top of Stratum B).
Construction
Unshaped stones of various sizes and shapes were laid in a line next to each other and roughly coursed on top of one another; no mortar between stones; up to three courses present.
