Wall that was constructed in an expedient manner; probably constructed to prevent midden deposits from further eroding downslope; built after some midden deposits had accumulated in the area.

Vertical location
Base of wall rests in fill on Surface 1; fill is interpreted as naturally redeposited secondary refuse (Stratum 2 in PD record, Stratum B on profile, Map 152); base rests 8 cm above the base of Stratum 2.
Construction
Wall was constructed as secondary refuse was accumulating; unshaped sandstone blocks and slabs were dry laid and a few small chinking stones were placed between the larger stones; only one course is preserved and it is difficult to know the original height of the wall.
