General description
Round posthole.

This feature functioned as a posthole; it is unknown if it was part of a larger structure or if it aided in the construction of Structure 140.

Excavation procedure
The feature was excavated as a whole study unit in a full cut with a spoon; fill was screened with a 1/4 inch screen. 1 liter of fill was collected as a flotation sample.

Whole feature was excavated.
Horizontal location
Feature is located in the north-central portion of the unit.
Vertical location
Top of feature is at Surface 1, or approximately 97.48 m; bottom of feature is at 97.06 m.
Construction
A round, basin-shaped hole was excavated from Surface 1 into Nonstructure 163 deposits. The feature was not prepared in any way. A vertical post was placed in the hole.
