Use history
Function of pit is unknown due to lack of internal characteristics. Secondary refuse was deposited into the pit after it was no longer used for its original purpose.

Excavation procedure
All of feature present within 1-x-1 m unit 418N 569E, was excavated with a trowel as Segment 1 with strata subdivided into 10 cm arbitrary levels. Fill was screened with a 1/4 inch screen.

All of feature within 1-x-1 m unit 418N 569E.
Horizontal location
Southwestern portion of 1-x-1 m unit 418N 569E.
Vertical location
Approximately 49 cm from the modern ground surface to the top of Feature 1.
Construction
A basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediments. The pit was not prepared in any way except for some sandstone pieces lining the opening of the pit at Surface 1.
