Excavation procedure
The portion of the feature (Segment 1) within 1-x-1-m unit 474N 556E was excavated only a few centimeters with a trowel until HRO-7 was encountered. Fill was not screened and was placed back into the pit feature to cover the remains.

Horizontal location
In southeast corner of 1-x-1-m unit 474N 556E.
Vertical location
Top of pit is at Surface 1 or 97.42 m.

An oval, basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediment.

Excavation procedure
This feature was encountered while excavating in 1-x-1-m unit 474N 556E. Once confirmed as human remains, excavation ceased.
Portion excavated
Only the northwestern 1/8 of the burial was exposed within 1-x-1-m unit 474N 556E. Only the uppermost portion of the remains were exposed. Once identified, excavation ceased within the unit.
Horizontal location
Southeastern corner of 1-x-1-m unit 474N 556E.
Vertical location
Top of burial is located at approximatley 97.28 m.
