General description
Basin-shaped pit.
Use history
The original function of the pit is unknown due to a lack of distinguishing characteristics. After the pit was no longer used for its original purpose, secondary refuse was deposited into the feature.

All of the feature (Segment 1) within the 1-x-1-m unit was excavated with a trowel in 10 cm levels.

All of the feature (Segment 1) within the 1-x-1-m unit 489N 558E.
Horizontal location
Northern 1/3 of 1-x-1-m unit 489N 558E.
Vertical location
Top of pit is at Surface 1, or approximately 97.61 m.
Construction
A circular, basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediment. The pit was not prepared in any way.
