General description
Basin-shaped pit excavated into sterile sediments.
Use history
Basin-shaped pit associated with an extramural use area; after the pit was no longer used for it's original intent, it became a receptacle for midden deposits.

Excavation procedure
Entire feature was excavated as a whole study unit in two 10 cm levels with a trowel and screened with a quarter inch screen.

Entire feature was excavated.
Horizontal location
Southwestern portion of Nonstructure 103; in northeastern portion of 1-x-1 m unit 469N 519E.
Vertical location
96 cm from modern ground surface to the feature top; 96 cm from modern ground surface to the feature bottom.
Construction
A basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into sterile sediments; the pit was not lined or prepared.
