General description
Round, basin-shaped pit feature.
Use history
The function of the pit is unknown due to a lack of distinguishing characteristics; the pit was filled with secondary refuse after it was no longer used for its original purpose.

The southeastern portion of the feature was excavated with a trowel and brush in a full cut.

Southeastern portion of pit was excavated.
Horizontal location
The pit was present in the 1-x-1-m unit 508N 496E with the exception of the northwest corner.
Vertical location
Top of feature is at Surface 1 or 97.30 m.
Construction
A round, basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediment. The pit was not prepared in any way.
