General description
Rock-lined basin-shaped pit excavated into undisturbed native sediments.
Use history
Unknown due to lack of internal features; secondary refuse was deposited into pit after it was no longer used for its original purpose.

None.
Excavation procedure
This feature was excavated as Segment 1 (rest of feature continued into southern and western profile walls) in a full cut due to the extreme sloping of the feature's depth. Fill was excavated with a trowel and screened with a 1/4 inch screen.

Entire portion of Segment 1 within 1-x-1 552N 531E.

Construction
A basin-shaped pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediments. The pit was not modified in any way except that irregular sandstone pieces were placed around the lining of the pit directly on Surface 1.
