General description
Basin-shaped pit excavated into undisturbed native sediments.
Use history
The function of the pit is unknown due to lack of internal features; secondary refuse was deposited into the pit after it was no longer used for its original purpose.

Excavation procedure
Entire portion of feature within 1-x-1 m unit, Segment 1 was excavated with a trowel and brush as a full cut; sediments were screened with a 1/4 inch screen.

Entire portion of feature within 1-x-1 m unit 555N 530E, Segment 1.
Horizontal location
Northern 1/3 of 1-x-1 m unit 555N 530E.
Vertical location
The top of the feature is 60 cm below the modern ground surface.
