Use unknown; possibly dismantled at end of use; pit filled naturally.

10 cm wide exploratory trench dug initially, then remainder of fill removed "full cut."

Only the portion of the feature within the excavation unit.
Horizontal location
Northwest corner of excavation unit; southeast edge of site.
Vertical location
Extramural, unprepared use surface.
Construction
Pit was excavated into undisturbed, decomposing Dewey Bridge sandstone. No other construction observable, although some sandstone rocks were in fill, and at least one tabular rock rested on the floor of the pit, and clumps of multi-colored clay were present in fill. Thus, feature may have had other construction that was dismantled.
