General description
Round, basin-shaped pit.
Use history
The original function of the pit is unknown due to a lack of exposure (field season ended before pit excavation was completed). Secondary refuse was deposited into the pit after it was no longer being used for its original purpose.

None.
Excavation procedure
All of the feature present within the 2-x-2-m unit (Segment 1) was excavated as natural strata with a trowel and brush. Fill was screened with a 1/4 inch screen.

Horizontal location
Western portion of 2-x-2-m unit 649.4N 362.6E.
Vertical location
Top of feature is at 97.81-84 m.
Construction
A round, basin-shaped pit was excavated into undisturbed native sediment from Surface 1. The pit was not prepared in any way.
