Burial pit is located approximately 30-35 cm below modern ground surface.
Construction
The burial pit was excavated from Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediments; the remains were interred and a large sandstone slab was placed over them. Because of the proximity to plow zone, the sandstone slab broke into three pieces from disturbance.
