Feature 1 has a dark stratum with small charcoal flecks; possibly associated with a pit structure extending to south; below base of Structure 103.

Pit feature with no obvious function; potentially part of larger structure extending outside of area excavated.

Nonstructure 120, Feature 2 (not excavated) may be contemporaneous; excavated into undisturbed native sediment.
Excavation procedure
Initially encountered in test window of Structure 103; augured; excavated in natural strata subdivided into levels until undisturbed native sediment was reached.
Portion excavated
Northwestern portion of feature within unit; unknown portion of total feature.
Horizontal location
Located below southeastern corner of Structure 103.
