General description
This feature was exposed during the excavation of roof fall sediments within Structure 1416. Approximately 25 percent of the burial pit (Nonstructure 1417, Feature 1) was excavated.

Remains of a male adult in his early 50s.

Construction
A burial pit (Nonstructure 1417, Feature 1) was excavated into the roof fall sediments of a kiva, Structure 1416, decomissioned with secondary refuse. The remains, consisting of a medial left os coxa, the inferior sacrum, and the ischial tuberosity of the right os coxa, were placed within the burial pit and were covered with sandstone slabs and then with natual and cultural sediments.
