South face of a check daml; no cross-section pattern, stones are roughly stacked on top of one another; unlike the north face, this face slopes; this face of the wall rests on five to ten centimeters of fill whereas the north side of the wall rests on bedrock; it was difficult to distinguish the wall from wall collapse on this face
