Located near the center of the Great Kiva east midden (Nonstructure 109), approximately 13 m southeast of Structure 102.
Selection Criteria
Random. To sample Architectural Block 100 west midden Nonstructure 109.
Excavation Strategy
Natural strata.
Unit Ends at
Undisturbed native sediment. Excavations were terminated at approximately 99.10 m. A 10 cm x 10 cm window was dug into the northwest corner of the unit to confirm sterility; the bottom of this window was at an elevation of 99.07 m.

Undisturbed native sediment. Excavations were terminated at approximately 99.34 m. A 10 cm x 10 cm window was dug into the northwest corner of the unit to confirm sterility; the bottom of this window was at an elevation of 99.27 m.
