This midden was highly disturbed by bulldozing and plowing activity, so whether it truly dates from A.D. 500-1300 is debatable. Some of the earlier wares may have been dragged over from nearby sites, as there was no evidence on the site of their being Basketmaker or Pueblo I occupations.
