Located in the south-central portion of Nonstructure 105, roughly 7.5 m south of pit structure (Structure 106).

Random. Third 1-x1-m unit selected for excavation in Nonstructure 105.

Natural strata.
Unit Ends at
Undisturbed native sediment. Excavation continued approximately 5 cm into undisturbed native sediment to confirm the sterility of the deposit. Excavation was terminated at roughly 84.50 m.

Undisturbed native sediment. Fill continued into Nonstructure 110 Feature 1. Undisturbed native sediment was encountered below Feature 1 at 84.49 m; the prehistoric ground surface was located at approximately 84.55 m.

This excavation unit is located south of Structure 106.
Selection Criteria
Random. This is the ninth 1-x-1-m unit used for investigation into Nonstructure 105.

Unit Ends at
Fill continued. Fill continued into Nonstructure 111, upper construction fill likely from Structure 106. This unit was likely placed over the antechamber of Structure 106. An auger was used to assess the depth of the floor, which was at approximately 83.77m below datum.
