Southwest quadrant of site; base of talus slope, in canyon bottom.
Specific Location
Upper fill of Segment 10 (EU 41) and all of the fill from Segment 11 (EU 42).
Selection Criteria
Part of Nonstructure 1-N testing; see Nonstructure 1-N and associated EU's for description and explanation of testing strategy.
Use
Refuse from the kiva units east and northeast of this study unit; this interpretation is based upon the close proximity of the structures to this study unit.

Dating of Midden
The types of pottery sherds found in this midden suggest that the refuse was deposited during the late Pueblo II and Pueblo III times.
