Northeast quadrant of site. Within rim complex on canyon rim.
Specific Location
North edge of rim complex; grid northeast of a large masonry complex that includes Structures 28 and 29.
Selection Criteria
Part of Nonstructure 2-N testing; see Nonstructure 2-N and associated EU for description and explanation of testing strategy.
Use
Semi-altered natural surface associated with the construction of two walls (Feature 6 and Feature 9).
Abandonment
Probably abandoned as part of the abandonment of the rim complex.
Postabandonment Process
Covered by postoccupational wall fall and natural deposits.

Northeast corner of pueblo; rim complex.
North boundary of Nonstructure 2, northeast of large masonry complex that includes a tower (Structure 29), a kiva (Structure 6) and rooms, including Strucutre 29; unit extends across section of wall that encloses the rim complex.
Selection Criteria
Judgmental. Opened to examine a wall that encloses Nonstructure 2, a possible arc-shaped feature attached to the exterior of the enclosing wall, and a cross wall that may connect the enclosing wall and tower complex.
Excavation Strategy
Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels.
Unit Ends at
Undisturbed native sediment. Excavation unit was divided into three subunits when walls were exposed; sterile was reached in three subunits.
