Selection Criteria
Ten 1-x-1-m units were randomly selected for excavation to test Nonstructure 101 deposits. The refuse was generated from Structures 116, 117 and 150.
Use
Secondary refuse deposited by nearby residents in Structures 116, 117, and 150 from the Middle Pueblo II period through the Late Pueblo III period.
Abandonment
Pottery data indicates that refuse was not deposited after the Late Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above the midden deposits.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited in this location from the Middle Pueblo II period through the Late Pueblo III period.
