West-central portion of site.
Specific Location
North of Architectural Block 600; west and south of Structures 109, 110, 111, and 136.
Selection Criteria
Fourteen 1-x-1-m units were randomly selected for excavation in Nonstructure 104 to sample midden deposits.
Use
Secondary refuse was deposited by nearby residents (Structures 109, 110, 111, and 136) from the Middle Pueblo II period through the Late Pueblo III period.
Abandonment
Pottery data indicates that refuse was not deposited after the Late Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above the midden deposits.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited in this area from the Middle Pueblo II period through the Late Pueblo III period.
