Selection Criteria
2-x-2-m unit judgmentally placed to test an electrical resistance anomaly identified during the 2001 survey.
Use
Secondary refuse deposited in Structure 136 by nearby residents in the Late Pueblo III period. Nonstructure 130 is the latest secondary refuse deposit tested at Albert Porter Pueblo.
Abandonment
Secondary refuse was no longer deposited in Structure 136 after the Late Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural wind and water sediments covered Nonstructure 130 deposits.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited in Structure 136 during the Late Pueblo III period.

Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels. Excavated in 20 cm levels. 1.60 m of secondary refuse was excavated (Nonstructure 130) before Structure 136 fill was encountered.
