Northeastern portion of Architectural Block 100; in Structure 115; 503.9N 526.1E.
Selection Criteria
2-x-2-m unit ( Excavation Unit 64) judgmentally placed to test possible pit structure. 1-x-2-m unit (Excavation Unit 300) judgmentally placed to expand the excavations in Structure 115 2-x-2-m unit directly to the east.
Use
Nonstructure 139 was deposited in Structure 115 during the Early Pueblo III period. The artifact assemblage is dominated by McElmo Black-on-white pottery. Structure 115, below Nonstructure 139, dates from the Early Pueblo III period.
Abandonment
Nonstructure 139 secondary refuse was no longer deposited after the Early Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural wind and water sediments covered Nonstructure 139 deposits.
Dating of Midden
Nonstructure 139 was deposited in Structure 115 in the Early Pueblo III period.

Excavation Strategy
Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels. Excavated in 20 cm levels. Secondary refuse deposits (Nonstructure 139) were encountered at approximately 98.04 m.

Selection Criteria
Judgmental. 1-x-2-m unit (EU 300) was judgmentally placed to expand the excavations in Structure 115 2-x-2-m unit (EU 64) directly to the west and encountered Structure 135 (EU 335) at approximately 98.03 m.
Excavation Strategy
Natural strata.
Unit Ends at
Fill continued. Structure 135 excavation ceased at Surface 1, or approximately 97.81 m. Fill continued into Excavation Unit 300 (Nonstructure 139 and Structure 115).
