Selection Criteria
1-x-2-m unit judgmentally placed to test a masonry surface room, Structure 145.
Use
No pottery was collected from this deposit. Nonstructure 192 is refuse that was most likely deposited in the Early Pueblo III period. It is unknown if the fill was intentionally placed as a construction fill or accumulated naturally as residents discarded refuse.
Abandonment
Nonstructure 192 fill was no longer deposited after the Early Pueblo III period when Structure 145, Surface 1 was constructed.
Postabandonment Process
Structure 145, Surface 1 was constructed on Nonstructure 192.
Dating of Midden
Nonstructure 192 was deposited in the Early Pueblo III period.
