Central portion of Block 200; southeast of Structure 225.

Selection Criteria

One of two 2-x-2-m units placed southeast of Structure 225 to sample associated midden deposits; exposed Nonstructure 239 below the plow zone, and a pit feature (Feature 1).

Use

This is an extramural surface from which a pit feature (Feature 1) was excavated.

Abandonment

This surface was no longer used after the late Pueblo II period.

Postabandonment Process

Natural sediments accumulated above the pit and surface; the upper portions were disturbed by plowing.

Dating of Midden

None evident.
