Postabandonment Process
Midden was heavily disturbed by looting activity and rodent burrowing
Dating of Midden
This 1.3-m-thick, churned midden contains late Pueblo II and Pueblo III sherds. The presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery leads to the inference that at least some of this refuse was deposited after A.D. 1180.
