Dating of Midden

This 75-cm-thick undisturbed midden contains a few Pueblo I sherds and abundant late Pueblo II and Pueblo III sherds. However, the presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white in the lowermost stratum leads to the inference that the refuse was deposited sometime after A.D. 1180.
